Nicole is a cellist and music teacher.

She began playing the cello at the age of nine in the Halifax City School String Program and later studied with Colin Matthews. In 2005 she moved to Montreal to study with Hélène Gagné at Concordia University and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, a specialization in Music Performance and a minor in Psychology.

Nicole called Montreal home for many years where she played with several bands and ensembles. Now based in Kent County, New Brunswick, she is a Centre Director and Teaching Artist with Sistema NB and plays with Tutta Musica Orchestra.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys traipsing through the woods and sewing reusable wrapping paper to sell on her Etsy Shop.
